Ron & Edythe Brown

Birthday: January 6

Ron is the General Manager of WGTH and host of the "Rooster Ron Wake-up Show" since 1979. Ron graduated from Virginia Tech in 1976. He was General Manager of WUVT at Virginia Tech in 1975 and 76. He also worked at WPUV, Super 7Q, WFHG, and WMJD prior to working at WGTH. "The Lord has blessed me so much to allow me to live my dream, by doing what I always wanted to do and to be able to do it for Him. People have been so good to my family and me. Richlands is a very special place and we love it dearly."

Edythe Brown

Norma Kay

Much appreciated by both listeners and clients, Norma has been with WGTH since 2001, having previously worked with WTZE AM and FM in Tazewell. Her sincerity and loyalty make her a very valuable part of the ministry of WGTH. Norma is married and has two grown sons and one grandson.

April

April is our Operations Director at WGTH. She is a graduate of Richlands High School and a 2008 graduate of Berea College in Berea, Kentucky. In 2007, she studied abroad, learning radio broadcasting and production at the University of Sunderland in Sunderland, England. You can hear April afternoons on WGTH. We're glad to have her as part of our team!

Charlene Pinkerton

Charlene is our Sales Manager and has been with WGTH since 1979. A lifelong resident of the Jewell Ridge and Cedar Bluff area, her clients love her honesty and sincere commitment to their success and well being. Charlene is married and has two married daughters and six grandchildren.
